Pouring Candle Wax

Caring for Your Contento Candle

To ensure the longevity and quality of your Contento Candle, please follow these simple tips.

Leaves Shadow

Trim the Wick
Before each burn, always trim the wick to ¼ inch. This helps
prevent soot and ensures a steady flame.

First Burn = Full Melt
Allow the wax to melt across the entire surface on the first burn (about 4 hours). This prevents tunneling and helps your candle last longer.

Burn Time Matters
Limit each burn session to 3–4 hours to preserve the quality of the wax and container.

Stay Safe
Always burn your candle within sight, away pets, anything flammable and drafts (to prevent sooting). Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Stop at ½ inch
Discontinue use when ½ inch of wax remains to avoid overheating the container.

Fun Fact:
Candles create “memory muscles”; they only burn to the previous melt pool!
